Where do I start?

Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or just beginning to check things out, we have many opportunities to engage the journey of discipleship at Christ Community Church.

Life Groups

Christ Community Life Groups are an integral way of participating in the discipleship journey together. We’re convinced that sharing life with each other in regular times and places provide meaningful connections and conversations that help us travel the road of faith. And through the process we realize we become more like Christ.

Throughout the Week | Various Times & Places | Life Groups meet throughout the week in homes, at neighborhood parks or local coffee shops.

Discipleship Hour

Sunday Morning | 11:00AM. | Several groups gather during our discipleship hour following the Sunday morning worship service.

Core Classes

We encourage anyone and everyone to go through our Core Classes at Christ Community, laying a strong foundation for life together in the church.

Alpha 101 is a ten-week course on Wednesday nights in the fall and spring. This class is a safe and fun way to explore the claims of Christ and investigate the Christian faith. Each session includes dinner, a talk, and round-table discussion. Both Christians and non-Christians will find this course to be a blessing, a rewarding time of questions, reflection, and company. For more information, click here.

The Bible 102 is for anyone seeking to learn how to read the Bible. Would you like to have a better grasp on what is actually in the Bible? This course meets beginning in January to read and discuss 12 different books of the Bible, from all 11 literary genres represented in the Bible, highlighting important doctrines.

Baptism 201 is a class offered periodically throughout the year for those who are interested in pursuing a connection with Christ, knowing that you belong to God. Here you will discover how our spiritual ancestors thought about God, the values they have instilled in us as a church, and how we apply those convictions and values to connecting with Christ now and in the future. This class will help you make a decision to follow Christ, prepare for baptism, and understand the church’s role in the journey of faith. Membership 301 is a half-day course offered periodically throughout the year for those interested in becoming more like Christ and committing to a local church body. During this class, we discuss growing deeply in the Christian life, strengths-based service in the church, proactive peace-making, and family foundations. This class is for everyone in our congregation – especially for those interested in becoming voting members in our church.

Leadership 401 is offered periodically throughout the year for expanding our capacity of leadership to lovingly and carefully influence others for Christ. Topics covered will include personal planning for spiritual formation, practical steps for relationship building, writing goals that get you somewhere, leading effective meetings, and a beginner’s guide to leading Bible Studies. When you complete this class you will be able to give a devotional thought and lead a group of people to make good decisions.

We encourage you to get into a Life Group, meet some others from Christ Community in a personal and comfortable way, and share in the beauty of walking this journey together!
